Pakistan Navy has always been actively involved in providing quality education to the children of Naval personnel as well as the civilian children living in the vicinity of Naval Residential Areas. Therefore, Pakistan Navy is consciously contributing towards promotion of purposeful education with national aspirations.
Establishment of Bahria College Zafar Campus Islamabad is the glaring example of progression in education field. Pakistan Navy provides a caring-learning community where all children are happy and well-motivated; they are challenged to achieve high standards through a fun and enriched curriculum. We want a school community where all students have equal access to learning opportunity.

Our Story
About Bahria College Zafar Campus
Bahria College Zafar Campus Islamabad is an English-medium school and college, ideally located in E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad.
Before 1993
Where our journey began
Before 1993
PN Model Secondary School
The college began its journey as PN Model Secondary School before 1993, when the Pakistan Navy Women Association (PNWA) donated the building to start a school aimed at providing quality education to the children of low-paid employees of Pakistan Navy and other government servants residing in and around the Naval Complex.
1996
Pakistan Navy Educational Trust
PN Model School was taken over by the Director Naval Educational Services and became part of the chain of colleges run under the Pakistan Navy Educational Trust (PNET).
1997
Under Commander North
The school was detached from PNET and placed under Commander North.
1999
Administrator Appointed
Commander North appointed the Principal of Bahria College Islamabad as the Administrator to oversee all its affairs.
2013
PN Model College Islamabad
The institution was further upgraded to HSSC level, offering education in Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical disciplines, and was renamed PN Model College Islamabad.
2016
Bahria Model College Islamabad
The college was renamed as Bahria Model College Islamabad and began offering the General Science (ICS) group.
2020
Bahria College Zafar Campus
The college was finally upgraded and renamed as Bahria College Zafar Campus Islamabad.

Aims and Objectives
Bahria College Zafar Campus Islamabad aims at equipping a child adequately with both mental and physical capabilities so that he/she feels ready to take up the challenges and shoulder the responsibilities with confidence, taking pride in religion, culture, heritage and profession. The following aspects of education of child are looked into and catered for as effectively and efficiently as possible:

Development of personal qualities like honesty, self-discipline, diligence and perseverance through reward and indoctrination by the teachers.

Development of individual qualities like cooperation, tolerance, sociability etc. by proper motivation, guidance both inside and outside the classroom.

Development of leadership qualities like initiatives, decision making, confidence by providing opportunities to hold appointments as Class Monitors, Prefects, House Captains, College Captain and other offices in various societies of the College.

Character Building
Detection and elimination of negative aspects of personality like selfishness, violence, cheating and in-discipline by constant observation as well as counseling and through adoption of corrective measures, where necessary.

Curiosity & Creativity
Development of curiosity, creativity and sense of inquiry by pedagogic atmosphere, created through heuristic approach of teaching.
